Community Spotlight - Coco Bakes

Coco Bakes was founded on the principle that great tasting cakes and cookies can also be healthy. By using honest, whole, and organic ingredients, these decadent and luscious, baked goods will leave you feeling happy and satisfied. Who said dessert can't be healthy and delicious?

Santa Monica local and Co+op regular, Coco Kislinger is the woman behind Coco Bakes- organic baked goods that are gluten and dairy free!


Coco went to Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, where she discovered an intolerance to dairy and a reaction to gluten. Upon returning home, she developed her own recipes that she could eat and still feel healthy.


Coco has created truly beautiful recipes and deserts that haven’t gone unnoticed. She’s been featured in Elle, Food & Wine magazine, the LA Times and more, as well as being named one of Zagat’s 10 Rising Star Food Artisans in LA.
