Plastic Bag Ban
In anticipation of the impending Santa Monica City-wide ban of single-use plastic bags, we have decided we will not offer any single-use plastic bags starting April 1st. Single-use plastic bags are the thin plastic bags you would get from any ordinary grocery store. We will still have our large plastic Co-opportunity bags available. We chose our bags because they are thick and durable, and therefore perfect to be reused; they also go above and beyond the proposed City requirements for multiple-use plastic bags. Although we will still be offering you your choice of paper or multiple-use plastic bags, why not bring in your own reusable bags? If you do not have any reusable bags please we encourage you to ask any of our employees - we have a variety of sizes and styles available, you get years of use for as little as 99¢!
